The “Power of We” as Given by Zachary Biddle |

The 37-year-old freelance entrepreneur and Kickstarter, Zachary Biddle, has written many papers and blogs. His works have been on various domains and niches. Deeply loaded with insight and brilliance, his most talked about thoughts is that of teamwork. Zachary Mikel Biddle is of the opinion that the power of “we” has been largely underestimated and is not valued enough. Almost everyone understands and knows the meaning of “I” and the power of one’s self. However, as the saying goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to far, go together.” Biddle’s thoughts are synonymous with that particular thought. He implores people to consider the word, “Illness.” Naturally, the word makes you think of some sort of medical condition or disease. To show the power of “we,” Biddle, then asks people to replace the letter “I” with the letter “W,” in the word to see the difference. With the replacement, the word becomes “Wellness”, and that is how changes are made. Biddle does not simply believe in the work of teamwork, what he does and believes is far more than that. He believes that teamwork is better achieved when you do not simply trust the team to do their jobs right, but believe that some people can work together. For a team to work successfully, everyone must trust for the sole reason that they can work together to create better results. In Biddle’s opinion, there are two factors that determine the success of teamwork. According to him, the team needs to find its motivation. A regular and a good amount of motivation will keep the team pumped up and will help the team work on their projects with zeal. Another aspect that the team will need to work and give better results is the existence of a terrific leader. The team leader should not only be a good motivator amongst the team but should also be capable of handling every individual in the team to get them to work together. Although the above-mentioned parts are important, the burden of sharing responsibilities among the team members is also important. Biddle says that, when every member of the team understands and takes up their separate responsibilities and delivers their said goals on time, that’s when the team can actually succeed. Only working together will not give good results, sharing your responsibilities as well as other things will help out the team as a whole. If every one person takes it on to themselves to do everything on their own without consulting the other team members, the teamwork will obviously fall apart. However, getting your team to work together and trusting in the capabilities of each other is the best way to work together and achieve like-minded goals. Biddle himself is a motivational leader. When you have someone like him on your team, you do not need to worry about what to do. With him on your team, all work becomes easy.
